The Elmhurst Family’s Association (EFA) was formed in September 1984 with all parents being automatically members of this Association. Their aim is to organise social events and fundraising activities all for the enrichment of Elmhurst, spending all monies raised on its pupils with the aim of enhancing their school life. The EFA is a great way to meet parents from other year groups and to get more involved in your child’s life at the school.
We hold various events throughout the year such as the Christmas Fair, a Quiz Night and Summer Fair. Through these events, we raise money to give back directly to the students. We also run social events for all the children to enjoy time with their friends, making use of the school’s facilities.
In recent years, we have been able to donate garden games and iPad’s to the school (which helped enhance the children’s learning in ICT lessons) and even funded exciting outdoor activities such as school trips to Go Ape.
We are an extended Elmhurst Family and our door is always open so come along to our next meeting!
