World Book Day was a great event, with a wide range of characters coming to school for the day. Many of the staff dressed up and their classrooms also enjoyed a book themed door make-over. A wonderful celebration of the books in our lives.
We returned from half term to a varied week of activity with acclaimed author Laura Henry-Allain MBE, who visited children in Nursery, Y1 and Y2 to share her stories and passion for writing them. The visit, funded by the EFA, had children captivated – demonstrating the power of well chosen words.
