Eagle-eyed boys will have noticed Santa’s elves have been busy in the school library recently, and what a difference a month makes! The Elmhurst library is currently being re-vamped to support the new and exciting Accelerated Reader programme within the school. It looks great already, but there is much left to do. As well as new books, the room will eventually get a complete makeover inside and out that will make it hard to miss – and easy to enjoy.
The project, under the direction of an experienced library and reading consultant, is just the start of the school’s renewed commitment to reading, which will continue in 2023, and include an opportunity for parents to learn more about reading at Elmhurst. A very big thank you to all the members of our community who have already been involved in helping Mrs Copley prepare the room.
